Frida and Clover Update
~One of Each

I hope all is well with you and Cliff and the dogs! We have had quite the summer over here trying to keep kids and dogs entertained while also maintaining all the social distancing requirements! I wanted to send you a quick update and some pictures of our girls.

Frida (Bernie x Boone) is still very much a puppy, but has calmed down enough to cuddle with the kids on occasion. She loves everyone and every dog she meets, even if they don’t necessarily want to love her back! She’s turned into a fantastic running partner and only gets distracted by squirrels and deer. When we can convince her, she enjoys a very quick dip in the pool.
Clover is warming up to everyone still, but is no longer nervous around the kids and their noise. She has been joining me and Frida on our morning walk/jogs and is getting good on the leash. She’s also happy to inform me (quite vocally!) anytime there is another dog, squirrel, horse, bird, anything nearby.
We spent a day up at Lake of the Woods a few weeks ago and brought the girls. They loved lounging on the boat and barking at any ducks we came across. As you can see in the pictures, Frida provided an excellent pillow for my daughter when it was time for a quick snooze.
Thank you again for both of these amazing dogs. Our life would be so much less exciting without them!

Most certainly, life is fuller, more demanding, and exciting with the Weimaraner in your household. Some people lament their decision to add the Weimaraner. Most Weimlovers cannot imagine life without at least one. It is unthinkable. No matter what Weimaraner we get, there are challenges of one sort or the other. Thank you, for being one of the great OwyheeStar families–and for adopting Clover into your family.
