~Just for You!
Not every Weimaraner smiles. Possibly we told Bart to smile pretty for the camera. I don’t remember, but somehow, we got this adorable photo.
Whether the Weim smiles at you, or you at them, it’s all good–don’t you agree?
Has been a while since I shared anything. Toby and Lucy are doing great!
The two shed pics are Lucy’s last week and a pretty funny one of Toby’s very first she’d find! It’s a beauty. Had a good laugh in the forest at that one! Do t worry, you’ll catch up to Lucy someday!
The picture of the rock behind them. That was about 15’ high and straight up and down and I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it myself; Toby ran straight up it like a billy goat and then Lucy followed and I had to run and catch her when she fell back. The look on to Toby’s face was right after that. Tell me a dog doesn’t have a personality!
Who doesn’t like car rides and sometimes we get to share the front seat!
Love the first snowfall of the season.
We even get to help dad with the firewood.
Out of the two, Lucy has the best nose and Toby’s the most athletic. He must put 25% more miles. Sure is wonderful having two energetic and cuddly furries again!
Have a Merry Christmas!
We are so happy to hear news of Toby and Lucy. They look fabulous–like they are enjoying life. What a great share. It gives people a feel for what it can be like. There is nothing we can say other than seeing the Weims involved in the family activities brings us joy. Thank You–Merry Christmas to you and the Weim kids.
PS: We love your smiling Weimar photo–Toby you are adorable.
Our Roxy girl hit a milestone with her 10th birthday today (4/09/2013)
Since we did not have children, we decided to search for a good Weimaraner breeder back in 2003, and found OwyheeStar just in time for Dottie & Silver Turbo’s new litter.
We had been forewarned about the crazy mannerisms of Weims and endured those first two years without any furniture being eaten.
Our Garden Assistant
She was never a hunter and she hated the water, but she loves to pull weeds in the garden (and was fondly nic-named “Rootin’ Tootin’ Roxy” as a puppy).
The hostess and official welcoming committee.
We owned a dog boutique a few years ago, and she helped model the merchandise and greet our customers.
She loves people and has an incredibly goofy grin when anyone comes through the door; (she will come running up to greet us with a big toothy smile).
She has always been well behaved, and such a love. She is so connected to us and is never in another room without us.
The last couple of years she started really slowing down, but her heart just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
We are thankful for each shared adventure
We are forever grateful to Shela and Cliff for entrusting us as Roxy’s parents – she is without a doubt one very loved Weimy 🙂 ~ Renee & Tony
