Run, Dusty, Run

~Your Free

We are saddened to report that our beloved Dusty has departed his earthy domain, and joined the great group of Weimaraners awaiting his arrival at Heaven’s Door. We really cannot say more, but please remember him as captured in the lovely photo.

Happy Birthday Dusty

Yesterday, February 2nd, 2019, (Groundhog Day) our Dusty celebrated 14 candles. Well, he didn’t actually get the candles, but he would gladly eat birthday candles. (OMG) Cliff says the pictures look photoshopped–they were not. (Haha) The hat is too small–but cute.

Thank you, Dusty, for all you have done for so many. We are blessed to have had your company for so many years.

This Week’s OwyheeStar News

February 2014 is off and running….

IMG_3820Today, we have a wonderful winter wonderland view from every window in the house. We don’t have as much snow as much of Oregon, but we have enough to set us to work clearing the driveway, sidewalks, and whatnot. Yesterday, Cliff and Dusty went for a walk. They took some great photos. You might have caught the one I posted on Facebook, but I am working on an album.

Here are the links for this week’s blogs….

Snow much fun; snow much work……

DSC_7069CCliff was glad he went down to the timber patch yesterday, and harvest some shop wood. He could have made it happen today; however, it would have been a lot more work. That being said, he has wood to keep the shop warm for a few days.

He is off to clear snow. The tractor is a great blessing. We have quite a bit of driveway, and loops around to Cliff’s father’s drive. You can see the train in the background (along with the wheel-line)–the train is about 1/4 mile from our house. You can get a sense that we have a lot of snow in the valley. We can only guess how much snow was deposited in the mountains. We all know that it is much-needed snow to help deter a terrible drought condition.

Many blessings and warm wishes from Shela and Cliff–(and the OwyheeStar Weimars too!)

~Thank you for being a part of our lives!
