Struck Gold, Again
Our Quinn
~He is Amazing!

I think we struck gold again because Quinn is just as mellow as Jake was as a pup. He house trained quickly, is very smart, and goes right along with the rest of the pack as you thought he would. Our girls absolutely adore him.
We’re so grateful for the work that you and Cliff have done to give our boys the best foundation! Hope you are well.Sincerely,Lindsay and Quinn’s Human family

Our Macey
Not a person goes by that doesn’t say she is the best looking dog they ever saw.
Macey and our son are best friends it could not have worked out better. Thanks for your hard work. ~ Don

Don, we appreciate your loyalty. After your first OwyheeStar Versatile Hunting Weimaraner passed, you could have gone anywhere. The long distance and the logistics of making this all come together make this all the more amazing. We look forward to hearing about her antics as well as her success in the field.

Versatile
Huntress
~ And More!
We wanted to give you an update on our sweet Darcy. She is 2 years old now. We are so grateful for our beautiful girl. She is such a wonderful part of our family, and it’s hard to remember what life was like before she came to us.
She loves to hunt, hike, swim, play with the kids, give the baby lots of kisses, go running with mom, and torment the chickens. Everywhere we go we get compliments on what a beautiful dog she is. People familiar with weims also comment on how small she is. She’s 45 lbs and a lot smaller than other weims we come across. We remember you mentioning that her mother and grandmother were on the smaller side as well, so we’ve never worried about it. She is just the perfect size for us. 😊
We’ve attached a few pictures. One is on her birthday. She wasn’t very thrilled about the silly crown we put on her, but she tolerated it because she knew a tasty breakfast was coming.
Thanks again for all you do! We love our sweet Darcy.

We have fewer and fewer under-sized pups. That will make many sad. Nevertheless, you cannot keep breeding back to the same lineage. New blood (such as Boone) brings depth and diversity to our gene pool. That is a good thing.
We are thrilled to hear she is versatile on every level–the perfect fit for your hunting and the family life. What more could we hope? Thank you, ever so much for remembering us with this update. It means the world!
Dewey
The Heavens Weep with You!
We have almost twelve years worth of special memories with our Dewey dog, but we had to say goodbye to him earlier this week.
😢 He was an awesome, gentle (but protective), and special dog. We took him nearly everywhere we went. He was part of our family each time our family grew, and the kids loved him so much. Noellie called him “Big Brother Dog.”
💕We miss him so much.

Waiting At the Bus Stop
~and Whatnot
Just a quick update on Remy. She is doing so great! She has a very sweet personality, and she sure is smart. She enjoys getting out for little walks and is getting much better at walking on the leash. Every day she waits with me at the bus stop for the kids to get home and she now starts her excited tail wagging as soon as the bus rounds the corner. She has so easily fit into our family.
She is still doing great with potty training and being in the crate. She has also learned to sit, stay, come and even shake. We haven’t worked with her much yet but she picks up the commands quickly. She is getting better with the biting, a few times we have used a little spray bottle to spray a bit of water in her face to stop her, but she usually can be redirected with a chew toy. I cannot believe how much she has already grown! She has a big appetite.😀 She is a joy and such a beautiful dog. We are so happy she has joined our family.
I hope you are all well and we’ll stay in touch!Haley

Berkley
- Berkley is having fun in the leaves!
Growing, Learning, and a lot of Fun!
Berkley is growing like a weed. Sometimes we call her “bean stalk” because she is growing so fast.
She’s learning more and more every day and we are enjoying her so very much. She is sweet with a twist of feistiness!
Berkley and Our Daughters
Berkley is excited about learning Latin along with our daughters.
Then, she is showing off her ability to heel alongside our 7-year-old. We use the Starmark Collar you recommend on your website and taught our girls how to use it properly.
Until next time,Amanda

We are delighted to learn that things are going well with Berkley. It is great she is such an integral part of the family. Then too–it is beyond surprising that she is heeling for your 7-year-old daughter. Many of our adults (write us) that they are unable to achieve the loose-leash heel. When you understand how to use that collar, and it is used (correctly) a lot of good things can happen.
We sincerely appreciate you thinking of us and sharing a window into your life with Berkley. Keep up the consistent effort and things will continue to move forward positively.
