Look Who’s Two!

(April 14, 2020) For my birthday Mom and Dad got me some great presents and a cookie. My mom and Dad love me so much. It’s because I am so awesome and they just can’t help but to spoil me. Mom wasn’t feeling very good on my birthday so we just cuddled on the couch in the morning until dad woke up then he played with me. My parents have the best fur son and they are so lucky to get to love me everyday.

The Naughtiest
Guess who’s birthday it is!
Roy is doing great! We recently just got over a case of the swimmers tail, we can’t keep him out of the water! And having a full tail probably contributed to that. Was so weird to see him not be able to wag his tail because he is always wagging that thing!
We are heading to the beach this weekend for his birthday weekend at his favorite place! He literally goes crazy and into a frenzy at the sight of the sandy beaches.

Bella Celebrates Three!
This princess is 3. Whoa …how time flies.
Seems like just yesterday we brought her home. This girl stole everyone’s heart from day 1.
She is so adorable and cute.
She barks and chases everything, birds, squirrel, dragon flies ,,, in the water at the dog park 😉 We love watching her and her facial expression is priceless.
We thank you, Cliff and Shela, for giving her to us. She completes our lives.

Miss Layna Blue ( Greta x Blue 3-3-14) is doing great! We have enjoyed camping and
spending time with family. The summer in the Flathead Valley flew by so I am catching up on a belated birthday picture just for you. We can celebrate 2 1/2 years old too right!!??
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your blogs. Enjoying special moments will other Weim lovers is priceless… I think the best parts are when I recognizing her litter mates! Have a wonderful fall and keep up the good work.

Let’s Celebrate!
Yesterday was this crazy pup’s birthday. She finally made it to a year old (I had my doubts). I can not believe that it was a year ago we got a call from OwyheeStar Weimaraners (Shela and Cliff Nielsen), and we started the process of bringing Lexi home with us. Who knew she would become as important to us as some people’s kids are? ( lol) We could not have asked for a better pal than Lexi. We love this crazy little dog and we are excited to look forward to many more adventures together!!!
Therefore, we did what any good parents would do and threw her a birthday party, with a cake and treats for all her doggy friends!!!
Breeder’s Comment — We are happy to hear Lexi has celebrated her birthday in style. There is no way to understand just how life changing the Weimaraner experience is until you take the journey. Some people enjoy this process with their Weimaraner. It is a common event. Nevertheless, you must be careful with ingested bits of the toy or the squeaker. Some Weims do not destroy things. One way to curb this behavior is not to let it begin early on–take away their bedding if they chew it. Don’t give them anything they can destroy without supervision. Then you remove it if they start to kill it. The other side of the coin is many people buy things for their Weim to decimate. That pretty much sums up the landscape. Happy Birthday, Blue Boy!

…Dear Lucy
July 23, 2015--Today is Lucy’s 9th birthday. She and Luigi got a special treat of chicken while Bob and I sang Happy Birthday to her. I took a video that I hope turned out well enough for you to see and hear. We hope you enjoy it, although our singing is pretty bad!!! LOL!!! The kids, of course, gobbled down the treat. Lucy was smiling which I’m glad showed up on the video.
