Bluebell

Thank’s for the info. We’ll get her paperwork taken care of soon.
Bluebell has had her shot, all is well so far, back on schedule, thank’s again for helping with that, I so needed it. She’s gone out on her own to potty twice today, she’s figured out our doggie screen door (long story but it works), slept all night, in her crate at 8pm and awakening at 7 this morning!
Of course she’s snoozing within sight of Bell and I go early when she does and watch movies, seems to be all working out. This morning both dogs had a lovely moment, Bell’s unwilling to warm quickly as Bluebell likes to jump up and outright bite her, but in less than a week, they already are much closer. Being 14 August 29, Bell is very sweet with all that’s going on and adjusting well.
There’s a first week update…our family is doing well with the new addition of Bluebell #8…Thank’s again for all your hard work. Debbie

Thank you, Debbie, for the beautiful update. So happy that things are going reasonably well–I mean a tiny pup and the aged girl, it is challenging. But you have this managed.
Here she is a few days before she left OwyheeStar. That face says a lot.

What Could Be Better?

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that my family and I may be looking for another Weimaraner. We are not looking for a puppy though. After purchasing our sweet Kobey from you about 3.5 years ago. We have added a human addition 🙂 Kobey is absolutely amazing with her 🙂
I have been wanting to find a grown friend for kobey because we have a little bit of land here and he loves other dogs so much. Not sure I want a puppy again though. So just wanted to let you know just Incase you here of a weimaraner in need of a new forever home. Not picky as long as the dog would do well with kids and of course another dog. A smaller female would be ideal but not necessary. Thanks in advance for keeping me in mind if you here of a friend for my doggy 🙂 Mandie in McMinnville Oregon

We might have something that would work for you. Of course, when you talk about incorporating an older Weimaraner into the family, it requires careful planning. We will be back to again, soon.
Lexi
~ Western Oregon Suits Her

Lexi made it home! Bella is giving her a tour of the backyard.

It was love at first site! Doug said she did great. He thought she slept most of the trip. He offered her water but she didn’t want any. She has already had some water since being home.

You might remember we had shared that we had two Longhairs available for placement–both were a little older (about 12 weeks). We had given them each a name (you have to have a name at some point)–Lexi was known as Tilly. Her sister went to Florence, Oregon–she was initially called Harriet but now is known as Fiona.
We were happy to learn that both did well in their new placement. Bella (Livee X Blue) is teaching Lexi the ropes–giving her the grand tour.
Shaydee and Ruger
Well we made it home! Shaydee seems to really enjoy him. They are playing and playing…Lord help anything that gets in their road! HAHA! Here are some pictures of our trip home and Shaydee playing with him…and then all tuckered out on the dog bed.
Thank you again for the addition to our family. He is so funny ! Quite the personality!! *hugs* ~Hollee
PS: Here are two photos of the kids playing together!
Breeder’s Note: We were going to wait a couple of days to post this news; however, so many want to know about this pup’s future; we had to post the news. Ruger (formerly known as Brewster) has an awesome home with a longtime OwyheeStar family. We cannot thank them enough for wanting him, being loyal to us, and for getting us a quick update.
