Willow’s Routine

We are very active and generally walk at least three miles, six days a week, and we also do training in obedience, agility, rally, retrieving, and tricks.  It is also very important to rest and recharge- Daisy, Willow, Violet and I are having a nice, quiet, relaxing Sunday 🙂

~Nine years ago

She quickly learned- rather than chasing the hens- it is much more productive to follow them around until they lay an egg, then she snatches it and runs off to enjoy her yummy treat, LOL! 🙃

Willow has always been super smart–this is a great memory.

~ Walking with Violet and Daisy

We are SO HAPPY that Springtime is here!  I usually walk my girls six days a week, around three miles each time, and although we walk year ’round (even in the rainy weather), we really appreciate when Spring arrives~  Pretty soon we will ditch the coats and the girls will walk “naked”, Hahaha!  Willow is nine years old now and is very healthy, her daily exercise and training help her stay that way.  Violet, Daisy, Willow, and I wish you all a wonderful day!

Willow and her two sisters are so adorable in their walking attire.

I just took these pics of her~

Julie’s Willow

This is a recent photo of Willow on her way to the vet to get cheatgrass removed from between her toes. We absolutely adore her and am very excited to add another OwyheeStar to our family. Thank you!

Breeder Comment

Hello, Julie–we are happy to see the photo of Willow–as well as to hear how much you love her. Sorry to hear about the cheatgrass–it is an evil menace waiting to happen. We are delighted to be working with you again.

We don’t all look the same, but aren’t we a classy looking group?

~Then and Now

Some things never change

The Weimaraner breed is known for “counter surfing” of food is left out. We didn’t have to worry about that with Roxy, but this one is BOLD! And unfortunately, her daddy doesn’t discipline her on the furniture boundaries, so I’m always on my toes. Other than that, she is well behaved & we’re all learning.

And well–We have ourselves a counter-surfer! 🤦🏼‍♀️ This little bitch just ate an entire pack of Hawaiian rolls.

Breeder Comment

You know our disclaimer–Haha. You are great Weim-loving folks. Willow most certainly isn’t Roxy, but she is loved, celebrated, and challenging all rolled into one package.
