Zula Blue

Best Dog Ever~

Typical pose with legs crossed

Zula Blue came to us in 2011 as the sweet, little docile pup. Shela chose her well, as we live in Seattle with two young girls, so hoped for a mild and easy going, sweet heart.   Zula has become an integral part of our family, often find right in the middle of the girls, snuggling daily with all. We joke that she thinks she is a cat, as she climbs up on your lap.

Zula is also our marine girl. She prefers all things fish and loves walks on the beach. She loves to be up in the San Juan Island where she has all the amazing scents of fox, deer and racoons to nose and her mind occupied. Zula does not like the rain and will protest going out for long walks if raining. She is very bright and understands over 15 commands (below).  At the end of each walk she knows to sit at the final corner until we coil the leash and tell her to ‘go home’, then she races to the house, sitting the porch waiting for us.  She is the best dog ever!

Words Zula has knows: Walk, Sit, Come, Quiet, Cuddle, Pee Pee, Poop, Go around, Fix it (for leash), Stay, Down, Up, Shake, Cookie, Kisses, Go Home, Squirrel, Leave it

Breeder Comment

We named a girl Zula Blue right about the same time–and she is living in her Golden Year Placement. I love the name–and even more, love all that you have done for and with your girl.
