~ Golden Year Placement Going Well

Deja is well, vary well. She still has a tender tummy, but we’ve learned to watch her foraging. She eats everything she finds from banana peels to dog droppings. It’s her only bad habit.

She plays well with other dogs, responds to Bonnie’s commands, and is a terrific companion for a couple of old folks. We love her. I have debated about training her to hunt and decided I’m too old. But it makes me sad. She has all the instincts!

She casts perfectly and instinctively points. BTW, she has been spayed. No more puppies although I have the feeling Deja has good field dog genes. Hope you and Cliff are doing well.
