The journey begins–what will you become together? May we suggest to set aside any preconceived ideas and to take it one step at a time. That doesn’t mean your goals are wrong, but in our experience, if you build success upon success, your journey goes smoother.
We are Professional Weimaraner breeders--with forty years experience at raising puppies. For many years, we have focused exclusively on the Weimaraner! If you are considering the Weimaraner, or live with one, we welcome you to sign up to our blog.
We sincerely hope you will find the information, the stories, and varied posts insightful (as well as entertaining). To those who live with an OwyheeStar Weimaraner, we send special thanks. We appreciate the photos, the news, and your friendship. Thank you for being a part of the extended OwyheeStar family.
It is a great arrangement for so many reasons. A bus driver that works for the Casino (related this story to us) that he saw people at Pole 10—someone asked what was going on there. He said the Weimaraner folks are coming. It was so cute. He said he always wanted one, but just getting to see them was thrilling to him. We talked about using the parking lot, and the logistics–such a nice man.
Meet Hank. This photo begins our journey with our new companion. So far he is very smart. Did great on the car ride home and is doing well potty training and sleeping in his crate. He’s brought us so much joy in only 24 hours. My dad is with me in this photo. A long time bird hunter and is ready to help train Hank and I. 😊. I look forward to sharing photos soon.
We really would have loved to chat more with everyone, but the COVID thing doesn’t help. It was fun to capture this little photo of the two of you–I got several. I am sure your Dad has a bird wing or even a frozen quail that could be used to start the process. Thanks for the comment.
Sweet photo. Reminds me of meeting Cliff with Maizie at the casino parking lot in Pendleton over 8.5 years ago.💘
