Hello From OwyheeStar
~Cliff, Shela, and the Weimaraners

The garden is producing zucchini. And silly me–I was concerned we might not get enough. I have some in the freezer, and I have been eating it for lunch every day. I am not sick of it yet. (Haha)
Our hay has been cut and is drying. It did get a rainshower right after it was cut, but the weather has been favorable since then. I hope that holds until it gets baled and added to the stack.
The main topic of discussion is COVID-19–and masks. Are we not all weary of the situation? Malheur County numbers are trending up–way too many positive cases. No one can say for sure what that means. I will leave it at that.
AT OWYHEESTAR

Bernie’s babies are doing well. They have been out to the yard–on the grass. At first, they didn’t know what to think of it, but they have adjusted.
On another note, you might remember Tuesday’s blog–In Case You Ever Wondered. On Wednesday morning, we received a note that read:
Hello I have paid $1,000 for a Weimaraner puppy a little over a week ago and yesterday was asked for a $2,400 of shipping insurance as I cannot afford the shipping insurance I was wondering if I could come pick up the dog and pay for its time with you since I have bought it
We wrote back to this gentleman that he had been scammed–because we had never talked to him. You see how this works, and the price is low, but then they want big money to ship the puppy or something like that. If you are buying a puppy, please make sure you are talking with the actual breeder.
This Week On the Blog…

As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. This week we find our supply of material running low again. If you can help, send me a note.
If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).

On a very personal note

Bradley is playing basketball in Twin Falls, Idaho, this weekend. We watched a couple of the games that took place in the Salt Lake area last weekend. Last night there were two games, and I think there are a couple of more today. Go, Brad!

Birds are a pleasant diversion for us–we watch them, and Cliff raises some. Here is a swallow’s nest with the babies peeking out. Recently he spotted these Turkeys.
