~ Wasn’t Easy

I am heartbroken as I’m writing this.  Last week I had to say good-bye to Mia.  She was my best friend for 13 1/2 years.  She was my shadow, my support through everything, and best companion I could have ever wanted.  She was a great traveler and made trips with me to Tulsa, OK and Sioux Falls, SD to visit family and vacationed with me in Duluth, MN.  She was a ‘gym dog’ at three different crossfit gyms over the years and was even allowed to come to church with me!  As hard as it was to say good bye, I know she had an amazing life and she touched so many lives (as evidenced by all the people that have reached out to me over the last week).  Thank you for providing me with the most amazing dog I could have ever asked for.
