It was a long wait – and took a lot of discipline to not pick up found sheds, but shed hunting season finally opened May 1st. Since then, Mark and Shiny go out about 3 to 5 days a week. I join them on the weekends. We have our “secret” places to go hunting, but it is more of an art than a science as they can shed anywhere! Whether we find any or not, Shiny loves our hobby!

We love hearing about Shiny’s adventures. And we didn’t know about the Shed Hunting season–but it makes sense. For all those folks who love to hike, this would be fun. Like you say–it is more of an art than a science, but a fun activity.
