I don’t know which was the more celebrated Ontario event–the Burger West opening back up–or this celebrated fly by to honor the health workers during COVID-19. What fun!

The Oregon Air National Guard has scheduled to fly multiple F-15 Eagle flyovers over hospitals and other locations throughout Oregon during the month of May. We love that they came to Ontario–to salute Saint Alphonsus Health Care Workers.

Swimming continues at the Nielsen Farm Pond. This video says it all.

This Week On the Blog…

As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. (Haha) We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. We have more than usual, but we will get them all used. Thank you!

If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).

Sunday— May 3 — Out Back

Monday–- May 4 — Benson

Tuesday – May 5— Campbell

Wednesday — May 6  Swimming

Thursday –- May 7 — Wilson

Friday — May 8 — Lulu

On a very personal note

Every spare moment is spent at the greenhouse–for a good reason. Before long, there will be a few strawberries. (Yum) I suppose the Great Granddaughters will pick those. Maybe they will share with their little brother.

Cliff has got the irrigation system working–so he has the water business on his list, too. There is the mowing, the battle with the weeds, and the Weimaraners. He wants to train Weimaraners–oh and he has his Bob White Quail hatching –the hunt club guys are asking when he will have some available. (Haha) There is no time to be bored–keeping busy is easy.

I am constantly amazed by this little cyclamen–thank you, Eleanor Pernula. It has bloomed nearly every day for years–since 2012. Of course, there was the stretch where it didn’t bloom because I repotted it–and it broke. I thought I had lost this plant, but then–it grew back. (OMG)
