Hello From OwyheeStar
~Cliff, Shela, and the Weimaraners
April 4, 2020

The first week of April has made a statement–someone else said tornados, earthquakes, snow, COVID-19–and a few other things. Most certainly early 2020 will be remembered–no school, social distancing, and the loss of life.
Meanwhile, the local farmers are busy raising crops. The kids are home from school–excellent, and they are here just when an extra hand around the farm could be used. Typically, farmer’s kids don’t mind helping. Cliff grew up working on this farm.
AT OWYHEESTAR

We are busy with Spring puppies. The three Cliff’s sanctuary saw us and pups quite a few times this week. The trees and bushes are budding out.
This Week On the Blog…

As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. (Haha) We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. We hope everyone noticed the post regarding vaccine. We hate to keep bringing up this topic, but it is a Weimaraner thing.
If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).

Friday — April 3 — Social Distancing Sucks
On a very personal note

We are doing what we can to limit the chance of exposure–staying home when possible. I purchased the groceries at Albertsons and Walmart with their online ordering and picked them up park-and drive-style. It was surprisingly simple. I did all the things to keep us safe–leaving some in the car, and bringing in others to our utility sink and cleaning them before putting them away.
Cliff has been doing a lot of tractor work–just like I reported last Saturday. Farmers have been social distancing forever–haha. Well, you know they call it farming.

We have not been making meals to help Ashley–their household has had the COVID-19. Her husband is no longer on quarantine. The business is getting back to work, but her and the little ones are still quarantined. She says they are doing fine–the kids have no symptoms. I don’t know when we will see them again–this virus is a crazy thing.
