~Celebrates 8 Candles

February 28, 2012 was a good day on this planet!  Livee and Blue produced a marvelous litter of pups born on that day!  Among them were Miles who lives in Seattle with Grace and the Dobermans, Gabriel who is an award-winning beauty living in Russia, and of course our Maizie!  

Besides being beautiful, friendly and athletic, her abundant joy-with-life personality is what makes her stand out in a crowd!  She still has “puppy energy” (although sleeps more than she did when younger), she smiles and she teases.  Maizie is totally devoted to her family and family relatives and friends of family.  She is set solid in her ways with daily routines.  (peanut butter in Kong bone after breakfast for one)  

She still can be naughty if she feels like it—like finding a paper cup or a napkin to chew up when we’re not around.  She still has a penchant for paper—most recently Jerry’s Saxophone sheet music!  Maizie still insists on pulling on the leash when we walk or run with her.  She will never be like Jan’s Willow.  Though headstrong, she is so smart that sometimes we have to spell a word because she is always listening—her command of English words and phrases is phenomenal.  Maizie is in love with life—and we are so in love with Maizie.
