Hello From OwyheeStar
~Cliff, Shela, and the Weimaraners

Hello
The January weather seemed to morph into spring-like temperatures. But as is the way with the weather, we then had big snowstorms in early February. This time it wasn’t blizzard conditions. But all the melting and rain has brought flooding–even the Interstate trapped trucks. People are stranded without power and in precarious situations — our thoughts and prayers for all these Pacific Northwest folks.
AT OWYHEESTAR

We are busy with pups, clients, and the typical OwyheeStar business. The backdrop to what you see online is always much the same–not any real downtime. That is the way it is when critters depend on their humans. (Haha)

We are raising pups for the future–here are the three selected. It will be two years before they can be considered–first, they grow and develop. Then they pass screening and such. From left to right–‘Patti Cake’, ‘Birdie’, and then little ‘DeDe’. Meanwhile, we are hoping to rehome some of the retired females into excellent Golden Year Placements.
This Week On the Blog…
As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. (Haha) We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. We hope everyone took the time to read Friday’s Blog–because it has invaluable information. If you have not yet read it, plus do.
If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).

On a very personal note
Cliff worked on the master bathroom tile–and he has quite a few other things planned. I am not sure of the timeline, but I believe he intends to continue working on the tile until it is mostly done.
Both grandsons played basketball this week–it wasn’t a stellar week. Not a single win–but Nick’s team got so close–but they let the game getaway. Numerous chances at the end to put the game away, but it didn’t happen. Instead, they lost by a disappointing single point.

Ashley, Cliff, and the family all want to thank everyone who has lifted her up in prayer.
She has taken seriously ill–a couple of bacterial/viral infections as well as Sepsis–it is very serious. And it isn’t very easy for her to have to be away from Jackson (the newest grandson) who arrived about three weeks ago. She misses her girls too–but being separated from her baby is heartbreaking and depressing.

As you may well be aware, I traveled to St. George, Utah, to meet one of my two sisters–Patti. We had a lovely couple of days together.
I hope to make another trip to meet more family in May–I will see how this works out. I want to meet several family members–but feel it is essential that I meet Aunt Lil (who is 92) as well as my older brother, Danny.
