And Mr. Winter is throwing around the white stuff–snow. We didn’t have a white Christmas–I do so love snow for Christmas. It seems magical. I love it everywhere but the roads–because there are always folks who make driving unsafe for everyone near them. Why is it some of these have big 2-wheel drive pickups–they pass you some way, and soon you see them in the ditch. (Go figure.)

On a very personal note

What could be bigger news that our first Great Grandson’s arrival? Jackson James arrived yesterday–safely. We are so thrilled–can not wait to meet him. I don’t know precisely when that will happen, but soon.

Yesterday we purchased some basic transportation for Christina, whose car has been failing for a long time. Did I mention it is a simple get around town and to Boise and back type of ride–commuter situation. We hope it turns out to be a bargain–finding reliable, inexpensive transportation can be tricky.

Basketball is still a thing–Brad (#13) is playing well. The team got a much-needed decisive victory the other day. Then they got spanked when playing an outstanding team–but they played a very good game. So, overall the team is coming together in light of overwhelming circumstances. Character building situations are not all that delightful when you are enrolled in the program. (OMG)
