Hello From OwyheeStar
~Cliff, Shela, and the Weimaraners
January 4, 2020

And just like that, we arrive at the first Saturday in our new year. It (the year 2020) sound magical to my heart and ear. Every new year holds magic until trouble spoils that feeling, but I think we ought to hold on to the magical and get past any trouble that knocks on our door as quickly as possible.
Our January is temperate –at least we don’t have sub-zero type temperatures. I can most certainly do without them. So far, things are damp as well as chilly. We hover around the freezing mark but warm up every day.
AT OWYHEESTAR

It was a week of exits for Bettee’s Longhair babies–and oh, what a few days we had. Making dreams come true–but first, there were baths and other whatnot. This preparation includes learning to settle in the carryon bag–for those pups flying. We had three flyers this time around. There are fewer options for those folks wanting to bring their puppy home as their carryon–Delta and United have made this option impossible. Nevertheless, Alaska-Horizon, American, and a few others are still making it doable. We appreciate that because, for many of our clients, it is the best approach.
This Week On the Blog…

As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. (Haha) We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).
Sunday— December 29 — Christmas Wish

On a very personal note
There is not much to share on a personal note. Hopefully, this coming week will include more moments to share. With me sick and the puppy exits happening, there was little to no outside activities.
I sent my registration to the college online because I was too ill to get to the campus. (OMG) I will see if they received it come Monday because so far I have heard nothing back. I much prefer to walk in and take care of business face-to-face.

There will be basketball this coming week, too. Brad played out of town, and the results were a demoralizing loss–it breaks my heart. I think there will be other decisions made for next year, but we stay out of it. We will support whatever they decide.
