~Chester speaks about family life

This is my second Christmas, Mom and Dad brought home a big tree again… they dont even let me bring sticks into the house, so unfair. They keep bringing in all sorts of stuff they don’t want me to play with. It isn’t fair I’m pretty sure they should share.

Mom has all the stuff that she is wrapping in paper, weird huh. Sometimes when she isnt looking I take some of the stuff and try to run away to get her attention.

Mom got me a new sweater since I’ve gotten bigger since last year. She made me stand in front of her tree and told me to sit and stay but I didn’t really want to. One of my favorite things is to climb into mommy’s lap I can tell she is cold and needs me to warm her up. I can tell she loves it too. Merry Christmas and happy New year!

Chester (aka Winchester), thank you for writing this lovely note right amid the holiday hubbub. I guess you don’t have too much work other than keeping your Mom warm, snuggled, and entertained–and on her toes, also. The snatching of paper –Oh my gosh, I am sure she scolds you and then laughs, right?!? We love your new sweater–and that you are living the dream–other than not being allowed to chew on the tree and snatch packages.
