GREETINGS FROM FAR EASTERN OREGON
~December 21, 2019

The weather has been wintery but not all that Christmas like–meaning we had snow, but it appears we will get no Christmas snow. The main activity is the same as everywhere–shopping. Well, then too–there are the Christmas parties.
Our gathering is slated for Christmas Eve Eve–yup a day earlier than we typically do it, but it is necessary. Here’s to hoping everyone is well and we can have our family gathering this year.
AT OWYHEESTAR
We managed to get the Discovery and Placement Test completed for the Bettee X Manfred litter–it was freezing even in the afternoon. We seemed to freeze, but the pups were having too much fun to notice. We thought you might enjoy seeing the kids at the Three Cliff’s Sanctuary.
This Week On the Blog…

As always, thanks to our faithful OwyheeStar contributors–they make this all possible. (Haha) We sincerely hope our readers enjoyed these updates as much as we did, too. If you have a story that you will let me share–I need at least three sentences and a decent photo. I prefer to receive it via email. (FYI–we only use stories that feature the OwyheeStar Weimaraner).
And–yes, I believe I have used nearly everything you have sent to us. So–we can use your story if you are willing to allow us to do so. Thanks to those who continue to make my life easier when it comes to the blog.

On a very personal note
Cliff is struggling with the arm issue–we are trying everything to make it bearable. He may have to breakdown and go to the doctor again. (OMG) Otherwise, he is getting things managed–albeit slower than usual.
We have had basketball games this week. This season is so very rough for the kids, the parents, and everyone involved. Here’s to hoping things will turn around.
All-in-all we are doing well, and like everyone preparing for Christmas. Our actual Christmas will be just the two of us. Forever we always had parents to include when the family events were over. But since Cliff’s father passed on, it has been very different. As the years pass–things evolve and change.
