Maggie
~ We shared so much!

I got a puppy from you in August of 2007. We named her Maggie. She was the absolute love of my life, my #1, my sweet and precious girl.
Me and the kids had to say goodbye to Maggie last Saturday the 16th. As I began to collect her things from around the house and put them in a keepsake box, I found the litter certificate among other things I’ve saved I checked online to see if you still had a website.
I just wanted you to know she lived a full life and brought so much joy and humor to our family and everyone she came into contact with for over 12 years. She was one of a kind. Hands down the smartest, most loving and best dog I’ve ever had.
I knew over the last year I didn’t have much time left with her. I promised her I’d stay by her side until the end and so I did. I sat right beside her until her last breath and kissed her goodbye.
This past week had been particularly hard. The footsteps usually behind me were gone and the silence was deafening. Not being able to put my arm around her and tell her I love her as we fell asleep felt unnatural. This too shall pass and what will remain are the beautiful memories I have.
I’ve attached some of my favorite pictures of my girl and a short video of just how silly she was.
I’m so grateful to come across your website and have had her in my life. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful soul!

Thank you for remembering us and for the beautiful life shared with Maggie. We are beyond sad for your loss–but we know that the future holds a new journey with yet another Weimaraner. Maggie cannot be replaced, but who knows where your next adventure will lead?
