~Happy Birthday Mesquite

Today (09/10/19) is Mesquite’s 9th birthday. I smoked some of her favorite snacks Jarlsberg cheese. She doesn’t get much, but every morsel is near and dear to her. She is amazing, you hand her a treat and you never feel the teeth on your fingers, just the whiskers on her muzzle. She is very gentle receiving a treat, and very respectful.

We heading to Montana to go bird hunting in about a month. I will try and get a picture of Mesquite with a bird for your blog.

She is one great dog, and we have a good time together. She wants to be with you 24 hours a day. When she has to go to the kennel by herself, she moves from the house to kennel like snail, with the lip rolled out. But she goes! I don’t have to chase her down.
