You might remember seeing Bella Rae and Grace on a recent Blog. This update is a bit late. We had several updates come all at once. Please do continue to send the updates. We will soon be out of them –haha.

At Home

Just a little update on Bella Rae. After a week home, she has really settled in. Our flight went great, she slept on my lap most of the way. I started with the carrier on my lap and my hand inside the bag and she sort of worked her way out and onto my lap where she slept happily the rest of the way. Since she’s been home she has slept through the night very well in her crate, we’ll go out to potty for the last time around 10 or 11 and then she sleeps until 4:30/5ish.

She isn’t too fond of being in the crate during the day unless someone is sitting by her but we are working on that. Bella is quite the cuddle bug when she’s not playing she loves to run and jump into your lap and snuggle there, she also loves cuddling in bed (of course) before she goes into the crate at night.

Her and Bacchus have become great friends. They play quite a bit (always supervised since he doesn’t really know how big he is) and when she cries in the crate he’ll go into the room and check on her, which usually quiets her right down. Bella is definitely an alpha, she climbs all over Bacchus and puts him in his place whenever she can. She’s also very brave and loves exploring outside. Taun is taking a bit longer to warm up to her but we’re making progress…
