Jedi
Two Years
~Loving Dedication
We got Jedi (Jed) from you almost two years ago now! I hope you see the pictures I post on Instagram and Facebook sometimes. He has really grown into a great dog for us. He is very protective, adventurous, and of course, is dedicated to his people. He goes to daycare about once a week so he gets a lot of socialization with other dogs and loves going out in the woods with dad on the weekends.

Possible Referral
My parents are thinking about getting a Weimaraner puppy. I thought I would check to see if you still have puppies available this year? I will let my parents know to put in an application if they are serious. Thanks again. ~Katie
Breeder Comment
We send our congratulations on the nuptials. We love seeing Jedi (Jed) involved even if it was only a moment. There have been a few other couples over the years which involved their OwyheeStar Weimaraner/Weimaraners in the Wedding ceremony. We are always so amazed and blessed to know they are much-loved as well as an integral part of the family.
Availability–I should put this out there, now. Our Wait List is much shorter than is typical. Of course, we get inquiries all the time. The list can snowball and take on a life of its own. That being said–we expect Fall and Early Winter pups. We have more people on the list (at present) wanting the Silver Gray or Gray traditional coat Weimaraner. Also, of the ten listed, seven want a female. Therefore, those wanting a Blue or a Male are apt to get a puppy sometime between now and the end of the year if things go as planned.
A typical wait is about six months for the traditional smooth coat–a bit longer for the Longhairs. Occasionally, we will have a puppy not promised before they are born. Maybe no one on the list wants a pup that matches their sex, coat color, or their timeline. It happens. Not often, but every once in a while. It is not a significant concern. As I mentioned, we get inquiries all the time. Many of these are of the highest caliber, and a goodly percentage are via either repeat or direct referral.
We sincerely thank you for your recommendation as well as your loving care of Jedi. Having this update is lovely. Instagram is new to us. We recently started posting a few photos here and there of the pups on there. We keep an eye on Facebook; however, it is challenging to catch everyone’s post. Thanks again for this Email update. It is more helpful to me than you can imagine.
