Smokey
He Is Agile

Here he is having a bad day and Mom decided it was a good time to wear the new goggles.
Smokey is everything we could ask for and more! We can’t forget about his naughty counter surfing from jumping the baby gate to the kitchen. He’s a quick one. He lives for human food and quite possibly enjoys the chase I give when he escapes to the kitchen. But he’ll grow out of it, hopefully. He has graduated from electrical cord chewing, drywall eating, kids toys, toilet paper, to name a few. So we are quite pleased to say the least.
He is Popular
He has graduated from electrical cord chewing, drywall eating, kids toys, toilet paper, to name a few. So we are quite pleased, to say the least. He is such a sweet mannered boy. Very well behaved around other dogs and humans (maybe not so with tiny humans and food) and everyone that meets him can’t get enough of him.
His Favorites
His favorite things are: going to the off leash beach, finding pheasant decoys in the field, FOOD, treats, food, and terrorizing the yard with the boys.
We just recently got him involved in a Rally-Agility class for six weeks and I am so proud of him. He knows sit, down, and has done everything on the coarse with ease, except the weave pole. He’s just hasn’t quite figured out how to bend his big, bulky body around them. We just love him to pieces and can’t wait to see what the next year holds for him.
Thank you, Shela and Cliff, for such a wonderful furry family member!
Breeder Comment
We are happy that Smokey is an integral part of the family and much celebrated. So many things had to align for him to come to your home. It was probably nothing short of a miracle. He is a lucky boy.
For those reading this update, there is more to come. Watch for further posts in the coming weeks. Thanks!

What a handsome boy! It’s good to read about the other counter surfers in the Owyheestar family. LOL!
It is a Weimar thing. Some people are able to break the cycle, and others not so much. The biggest thing is the dangers associated with the Weim’s ability to sniff out a find.
