This Fall Marks Two Years
~ Here is that first Christmas photo for Cliff and Shela

Here is the photo captured for Cliff and Shela
Two years ago this fall Holly (unknowingly) arranged an event that would lead to our monthly play dates. Holly & her Mother (who is a professional pet photographer) set out to get as many Owyheestar Weims together to take a Christmas photo for Shela and Cliff.

One Crazy December
Support, Sharing, and So Much More
We’ve lost some dogs, seen several humans go through surgeries or illness, used each other as sounding boards and support. The family that we have formed through the Weimaraner breed is priceless. Our family very open and welcoming, we all come from very different beliefs and backgrounds but we all have Weims in common and that has been enough to support our family!
Play Date turned Camp Out!
~August 26 – 27th
You are Invited to Join in the Fun

If you wish to join in the fun, contact me via text, email, or on Facebook to get the details. We are very excited about the upcoming camp out. ~ Nancy

What can we say? We cherish the photo–all but one of those Weims originated from OwyheeStar. We have been privy to other photos and stories. There have been connections made and Weimlovers helping Weimlovers. Isn’t that grand? Thank you, every one who has graciously remembered us in any way. We truly appreciate the recommendations, referrals, and your endorsements.
We are happy so many of you can participate. Nancy and Bill are gracious hosts. Thank you, every one who has graciously remembered us in any way. We truly appreciate the recommendations, referrals, and your endorsements.

Hi there! That would be my beautiful girl, Gracee. She came to me from West End Kennels in 2008 and has been the most amazing gift of my life. I’m lucky to have met Holly and love being a part of this great group. She loves wearing sweaters in the winter and she was smiling when I put the scarf on her. I attached a couple of photos that capture her big personality. Have a great day! Abbi Rath

So do they all just automatically get along because they know they are weims??? Just really curious. I wished I lived near you all, that sounds like a blast!!
Feel free to write Nancy because I cannot say for sure.
They sort of do, I think that dogs of the same breed have a lot in common (the way they play, communicate, even common instinctive traits) so they understand each other. We’ve seen some displays of dominance, but nothing serious & no one has been hurt. The dogs that come more than once start getting excited it the car long before they get here, I love seeing that the dogs love coming as much as the humans do 🙂
That’s right! She’s the pretty grey but the tree with the scarf! I could remember Jax and Luna on the couch with Santa, then Mazie in the middle & Goldie on the left, But I had forgotten Gracee’s name! I hope you can make it to a playdate!
I didn’t know Gracie either (with the scarf). Thanks for the clarification. I love this photo. It was a wonderful gift.
Thank you, Nancy for the reply because I could not speak to this at all.
Don Dean here deleted your address and phone for texting (sorry) so e-mailing to find out address again and what time festivities begin this Saturday? We will bring Mr. Blue!! >
