The best approach is to keep Lulu as the center of the universe status. The new baby is adorable but doesn’t displace her at all. They will be friends — eventually.

Oh Shela, your ears are on fire! I just showed Lulu the video of the pups’ first outing, needless to say she was only impressed for a few short seconds 🙂 I will be reading your advice blogs on how to introduce a dog to a puppy in the next few weeks so any advice you may have send our way!
We have plenty of love to give for both dogs! Lulu Jo is extremely spoiled, Lyla Ghee will be as well (Ghee is after our local ski hill Grand Targhee).

Dear lady — try not to be concerned. This is something that will feed the issue. If you can do the right things AND stay matter of fact about this is happening and it is the best thing for all concerned, I think things will go better. The Weimaraner feeds off our attitude as you well know. Love to you!
