Delightful Deli
Promises Kept
~Spring Romp
We have been promising Deli a romp as well as to post this update. We have to appreciate the fact that she is 15-plus years old. It is our belief that anything past 11 years becomes the icing on the cake. There are many things that can rob them (our beloved Weimaraners) from us early. We don’t need to list the accidents or unforeseen medical issues that can arise. We all want to focus on the longevity factor. Why shouldn’t we? We want to prolong the joy for as long as possible and be in denial of the possibility of their departure. It makes perfect sense to any Weimlover to take this approach.
Golden Gray Girl
She romps and runs. After this run; however, she snuggled in for an afternoon of snoring and dreams of exploits–past, present, and future. she has a couple of fair sized lumps and more than a few tiny belly lumps, but we opt to let it be what it is at this point in time. We are not going to subject her to surgery. She looks and acts well for her age. A quality life until there is an end to our time together is our aim. We are not looking forward to the day we have to let her go. We know, many of you understand all too well.

Deli you are still a wonderful pup… hugs and weim-kisses to you… and a wonderful spring time :o)
Thanks For sharing Sweet Deli💕 . Your time together is a bonus in dog years. Your “let it be” philosophy was ours too with our beloved Keeley. She had lumps too, but at 12.5 years we did not want to subject her to invasive surgery. We loved her so much. 😢 Each day we get with them is precious.
Easy boy thank you
Yes, we know things are out there but you just have to accept the good and go on.
Deli, is a beauty, even in her Golden years. I do not ever want to lose my babies, I think about my life without my Dusty and Stormy and it basically doesn’t exist. They are my life, my loves, and every day, they wake up with a ball in their mouth and expect me to jump up and go out and play. They fill my days like nothing else can. I love my Weims so much it hurts.
