OwyheeStar Week Eight 2016

Greetings From Far Eastern Oregon

Haffey's Maverick-2205_oAs weeks go this was like thin bullion–sometimes that is what a person needs. Last Saturday I (Shela) took ill with the flu-bug, and it has been a week long fight. The influenza war is not over. Nevertheless, things are better. I was able to resume the blog come Wednesday morning as you probably know.  We are positive you are also aware of the puppy exit that happened last Saturday. Maybe you spotted this awesome Grandma Terri Jacobson Photo of Maverick. Isn’t it magical?

This Week on the Blog

Cliff and I hope you enjoyed the week’s posts; the few there were. If you want to review or catch up, here are the links for your convenience.

Sunday—February 14 — No Blog

Monday — February 15 — No Blog

Tuesday — February 16 — No Blog

Wednesday — February 17 — Off Bed

Thursday  — February 18 — And Zoey

Friday  — February 19 — Avoid This!

On a very personal note

There has been little change. Cliff has continued to work on the utility bath, and I spent the week mostly in bed. About mid-week, I started doing the minimum, but until then Cliff had to my chores, in addition, to taking care of us both.

Our son turned 46, and we remember when we felt that was old. Oh my, our perspective has changed–indeed! Our grandson finished his last season basketball game with a loss in overtime. Cliff got to be there. For that I was thankful. It remains to be seen if there is an opportunity for him to participate in the upcoming tournament.

As Always

(Note–thank you to all of you who continue to send us updates. There is a lot to be learned from other Weimlovers; it puts a smile on our faces too!)

There is no way we could ever thank you enough for your love and support. We are particularly grateful to those who continually provide us with the material for the blog. Unfortunately, sometimes this is only photos and no script. There is no end in sight of our farmhouse remodel. We are doing it ourselves, and it is the installment plan–we are not borrowing to do this. We buy something and install it. Therefore, having the updates is greatly appreciated than usual–it is always a blessing! DSC_0134edit
