OwyheeStar Week Seven 2016

Greetings From Far Eastern Oregon

4-Mattie.Sadie X Stack 2015-2Nine families await Cliff’s arrival today. He is traveling west with precious cargo. We think you understand.

Mattie joined her family late this afternoon. We had business in Nampa; therefore, we met Mattie’s new brother and father. She was comfortable being held. They got their first Weimaraner (Annie) from us about 13.5 years ago.

Preparing for this big event requires a lot on every level. It is amazing how fast they grow and change too! As they join their new family, there is the celebration. It is a time of new things. OwyheeStar has them set up for the transition–they will surprise you. OwyheeStar looks forward to the future news and updates–as do our readers.

On a very personal note

IMG_1549Nothing much changed this week. The remodel continues–we could call it seemingly endless. At the same time, it feels as if a big change is coming soon.

One of our grandsons is playing basketball. It is his first year in public school–first school basketball experience. We are biased of course; however, you might agree with us. He is the tallest boy in this group. We feel the coach is hoping he will develop into a strong player. He is learning to block, rebound, and even make a few shots. It is good that he is well-liked. We have been so fortunate to be able to make a few of his games. He has a couple more as well as the tournament. Family is important! Especially grandkids, right?

As Always

(Note–thank you to all of you who continue to send us updates. There is a lot to be learned from other Weimlovers; it puts a smile on our faces too!)

There is no way we could ever thank you enough for your love and support. We are particularly grateful to those who continually provide us with the material for the blog. Unfortunately, sometimes this is only photos and no script. There is no end in sight of our farmhouse remodel. We are doing it ourselves, and it is the installment plan–we are not borrowing to do this. We buy something and install it. Therefore, having the updates is greatly appreciated than usual–it is always a blessing! DSC_0134edit
