An OwyheeStar Labor Day
Dusty Trails (or tails) at the Nielsen Farm
There are no puddles despite the sprinkles we have seen. The only real water is the irrigation water; in some places it is sparse. Dust boils up from the dry fields being harvested. Nonetheless, our hay looks lush in comparison.
We had this little longhair out for a walk. Not everyone loves the Longhair Weimaraner (sometimes called the other Weimaraner). Nonetheless, they have a growing fan base. Cliff and Shela adore all things Weimaraner.

that flyig ears and the wagging tail are guarantors for puppy fever :o) we love the Longhair Weimaraner and I love that we see more of them on shows. …well, the faces of some anti-longhairs are good too when they go home with nothing, while the “hippie-weim” gets the trophy :o)
Growing up in the 60’s in America–the “Hippie-Weim connotation resonates. There you go! That is why we love them so much. They are Weims on drugs. We never did the drugs but we dressed the sixties to a degree. Remember, we lived in the sticks. The Hippie movement didn’t get her for almost a decade after it was thriving in California. LOL
it came late over the big pond and we only got the “lite version” lol… but I’ve read hippie-fashion is the dernier cri for fall, so the pups will be the trendsetters this year :o)
