I had puppy pics taken of Winnie and wanted to share them with you.

Winnie did amazing the entire photo shoot. We are absolutely in love with this little princess. I have never owned a female dog, but Brendan always had until he got Max. Max is a 6 year old Chocolate Lab. The first few days Max was very jealous. But now, Winnie and Max are best friends. When Max and Winnie play it melts my heart because, Winnie has brought the puppy back into Max. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful pup!

Breeder’s Note: Cliff and I raised the Labrador (very casually) for twenty years prior to being Weimaraner only. After twenty-plus years of the Weimaraner we can honestly say that we love the male Weimaraner. We were never all that fond of any Labrador male, for some unknown reason. Yes, we loved them, but there is love, and crazy-nutty adoration. We never have experienced the latter for the male Labrador; however, the Weimaraner males are very different. Many folks prefer them. The females are lovely; nevertheless, in many cases they are more dominant-acting than the male. This breed is either for you, or not. The male-female decision is different, and you cannot gauge it by what you have always loved. We are just saying we were pleasantly surprised at the male Weimaraner. We were not expecting them to be so engaging, and to want to please so much.

  1. the photos are wonderful… what a beautiful Princess… I’m glad that I picked a male… it would be difficult to deal with a dominant Weim-girl :o) :o) :o)

  2. We have 2 weim girls and easyweimaraner you are right about difficult to deal! Although with that being said one is VERY dominant and the other is easy going. We do have 2 male dogs that are also in our pack (between 2 families sharing a property) and they all get along very well.

    • It should also be noted, you are not average in any sense of the word. Just saying……..two females can more likely than not be dominant. Whew………..hugs to you!
