We make quick work of casting off January’s winter; we warm our hearts with thoughts of true love.
10636842_10152905962521670_3578529092020488850_oFor the Weimlover, this can be a fun time of the year. Anyone who knows how we are, realizes they cannot be in our life without hearing about our beloved Weimaraner. Seriously, is that such a bad thing?

The Superbowl is in our rear-view mirror, and football talk is more about the draft. The celebration of our love comes at a perfect time. It is right around the corner. Before we share the moment with our beloved mates, we pause to take note of America’s rodent weather prediction.

The groundhog’s appearance is imminently important–if you subscribe to the hog’s forecast. It is the first noteworthy event during February. What it means is anyone’s guess. In this end of the valley, there were no shadows to be found. It was overcast.

On a very personal note……

I am one to say that getting the Weimaraner is life-changing. I must follow that statement by saying my interlude with cancer is equally so. Professionals are making statements about me being worn thin; therefore, I am going to have to take better care of myself. It is going to require extra rest, the best of diets, and some special care. In the meantime, it is not lost of me that Cliff is worn equally thin. We cannot have him getting ill.

Sometimes folks that are excited about the prospect of getting a puppy; or those who think if they press hard enough they will change how things will work, press too diligently. We understand, and appreciate their excitement. We rejoice in the celebration; however, it is clear we may not always be as instant as people would like. For those who have been super patient and understanding–thank you ever so much!

Thank you for your love and support. Keep the puppy updates coming. They brighten our day; and allow us to have something to share.

    take good care and do something for you and your Cliff too, you deserved it. A Weimaraner is absolutely life-changing, I sometimes can’t believe what this guys can do. Easy surprised us yesterday as he had to stay at home alone while Mark picked me up from hospital. He was a little confused but there was no mischief. YAY! He also is careful and there is no wild jumping or wrestling I bet he knows that I’m a helpless person that moment and he is on my side to comfort me. (broke my ellbow on friday, it’s screwed& fixed with wire now, hope the surgery went well and I can use it in some weeks like before)
