This Week at OwyheeStar

Owyheestar January 2015 Notes

Cliff_Jeep_Dog Trailer-3

January is ending on a positive note. The sunshine, and warmer temps are mesmerizing. We are soaking the warmth in is as it is possible; the earth is grabbing more than an adequate portion! We have no problem sharing.

Cliff made a trip out the the Owyhee area yesterday. Let’s say it is muddy–the Jeep looks like a working one. It is covered with mud, and I am glad Cliff returned safely. He told me where he was going, but it would not be good to send a rescue party to bring him home in the dark. I didn’t take a photo–this works.

The Week brought some educational posts, as well as a couple of fun updates.

We are once again thankful for the updates that make this possible!

Sunday January 25 — Don’t Leave Home Without Them

Monday January 26 — Sock Loving Dozer

Tuesday January 27 – Delicious Dangers

Wednesday January 28 — Piggy Izzy

Thursday  January 29 — Making an Inquiry

Friday  January 30 — Puddle Water Preferred

On a very personal note……

The last radiation treatment was completed on Thursday. We were told that the effects were somewhat delayed; the skin can continue to fail over the next couple of weeks. One area might recover, and another may begin weeping. I know just how it feels. (Lol) By no means does it mean we are finished. Once you are engaged with the cancer treatment process, the on-going checks, and appointments are numerous. Over a period of time, they will be come fewer–for now there are several slated for February as well as for March. Despite everything, I am gaining my strength, and keeping a positive attitude.

As Always…

Thank you for your love and support. Keep the puppy updates coming. They brighten our day; and allow us to have something to share.

  1. I hope so much that there are no traces of the big C and it’s gone forever. All fingers and paws are crosse for you. btw: on thursday we celebrated the removing of the port together with my bff, it’s the first “anniversary” of a “port free time”, maybe that’s a good sign that it happened the day of your last radiation treatment. I hope so.
