Merry Christmas Message

Dear Weimlovers…

We are overwhelmed with all you have done to show you care. This Christmas may not be perfect in every way, but it is perfection is so many ways. We have received countless cards, emails, and well wishes. Two parcels containing angels arrived in the last couple of days. The guardian angel sits on the left (of my computer) on my desk. It is guarding my work area; the exquisite handcrafted healing angel hangs from my neck. The latter was created by the highly acclaimed Rachelle Goldreich Israeli Glass Artist. Click here to read more about her, and her work. Both angels traveled a long distance to arrive at our home, and to become a part of our lives. One originated in France, and the other was purchased by Robbie, and began its life in Israel. We are deeply touched by the sentiment, and the special effort to get these to us.

It proudly declares that a house is not a home without a Weimaraner. I love it so much. The package was filled with Weimar and other treasures. Idelle lamented she was unable to pick up the Calendar this year for Bob, and I. Regardless, the package from France included a 2015 Weimaraner Calendar. On the same wall with the paintings, and the new sign there is yet another addition. Our lovely daughter-in-law picked up a treasure for us. This one says wag more bark less. Stormy says, “Whatever, and woof.”

Cards, Letters, and Notes

There have been Christmas notes, letters, and cards. In fact, I have gotten cards of all sorts during this season of cancer treatment. One person, who I have never meant, sent a basket to me filled with treasures. She has also sent me a card every week. She said people did this type of thing for her when she went through treatment. She knows our son, but it is most generous of her to continue to bless us with an endless shower of cards. Each one contains encouragement of a special sort.

Finally, we have received a lot of updates. The photos, as well as the news, are heartwarming. We are glad for every day that your life is blessed by an OwyheeStar. It is our hope that they will live long, and continue to grace your home with that special Weimar unconditional love. There is no explanation needed for those of you experiencing this firsthand.

Not even a Mouse is Joining Us

……..At Least I hope

5_Zula Blue X Blue 5WKS-53It is Christmas Day!

For us, the day will be quiet. It is the first time we are alone since we were  married–even then it was not all day. Cliff’s father passed on early this year (May 6, 2014); our life changed in a radical way. Today, we meet someone with their special Christmas present, but other than that, we are spending the day together. Our children, and grandchildren were here last evening (for the most part). Lauren and Slater could not be with us–they were sorely missed.

We have our must-do things, and a little trip to Nampa, Idaho. We are going to rest, relax, and enjoy the day. We sincerely hope your day is filled with special blessings.

Finally, there has been a huge cloud of prayer support. Thank you for that. There are people praying for me, that I will probably not meet in this life. Nevertheless, it is making a huge difference for Cliff and I. Please know that we truly appreciate it on so many levels.

And you will say that a wonderful woman did this type of thing for you when you went through treatment. And the same in 2016. And in 2017. And…
