Yes, Miss Emma Blue is melting our hearts one day at a time 😉 She is a wide spectrum of personalities, from soft and snugly when she is sleepy, to timid and Velcro-like when she gets introduced to new things or people, to a complete ball of fire running like lightening and puppy biting like crazy. I think that has been our biggest surprise thus far. When she is calm or mildly excited we can control or distract the biting but when she is really riled up she clamps down on any body part she can get ahold of 😉 We know she will grow out of it 😉 We are also surprised at how smart she is! She learned to ring the doorbell to go outside in about a day and has yet to have an accident (that is coupled with constant supervision though 😉 She listens to ‘sit’ and ‘go to bed’ and sometimes listens to ‘come’ or ‘stay’. She is totally fine in her crate at night and sleeps through the night without crying. She doesn’t mind it during the day if we are within sight but she cries if she can’t see us. You’re right, she is completely different than any other dog we have ever raised but we are very pleased with her. She will keep us active and content for many years to come, we are sure.
