Wellie

Hi

Its Carrie

~Wellington’s Mom!

Left –Wellie and I on our Wedding Day summer 2010!

He is a part of our lives on every level and we love him so much….

Last time we updated you on Wellie was during our Wedding last summer.

More recently, I got a chance to go duck hunting with Tyler and Wellie–in fact it was just this last weekend. I tagged along as a photographer and thought you might want to see the pictures.

Wellie is quite the hunter.

I was impressed, or maybe I should say shocked, at his all-business attitude.

Anyway, they had a great day and got their duck limit.

Breeder’s Note: Wellington has an undocked tail by design. Tyler an Carrie requested him well in advance of the mating and whelp. Tail docking happens very early in the process and therefore there are many considerations when going this route. All of the current puppies have had their dew claws removed and their tails docked as per the American Weimaraner Breed Standard. The interest in an undocked Weimaraner is on the rise.
