Hi from Ms. Malory!

Mallory Enjoys the Good Life!

Sorry it’s been a few weeks since I wrote. I’ve been really busy. Mom has moved my crate into her and bedroom so she doesn’t have to sleep downstairs anymore. So far I’ve been very fussy and would much rather be snuggling with Mom and Dad in their bed.  I did better last night but it seems I’m wide awake and very upset by 2 and 4am or so. I’ve never really slept with Mom and Dad but it seems so much better than sleeping by myself.

I’ve always tried to sleep in my crate at night but I never like it too much. I also don’t like going into my crate after lunch time so I will run and hide.  Sometimes I even run outside and make a game of it. Mommy has a good sense of humor about it and that makes me happy. Other than me not liking the crate I’m doing really well. I’m really good at sit, lie down and guess what even stay!  I watch Tucker a lot to see how to do it. Tucker is such a great big brother. I love to snuggle with him and he seems to like to snuggle with me as he will lay his head on my back and wrap a paw around my body. He’s nice and warm and has lots of soft fur to snuggle up to.

Let the games begin!

Mom and Dad bring home new toys often and we love to play tug of war with them. Tucker pulls very gently because he knows how much bigger he is. I went to the doctor this week and had a check up. I weighed in at 22lbs and the doc says I’m very healthy. I’m very shy when I go there and Mommy and the Doc have to work with me to get me to not be scared. I’m not scared anywhere else.

Mommy is looking into doggie daycare to help me meet some new friends. She is looking for the very best place to make sure I’m safe. I may get to go next week.

I will also start training classes in the next couple of weeks which I will love, I hope.  I’m showing a lot more of my personality now and Mommy says I’m quite clever. I think this is a good thing but I do hear Mommy say “NO” more often these days. I love slippers and socks and if Mom or Dad forget to put them out of reach I’m right there to remind them ;). I can finally walk on Linoleum. I was very scared of it for a while but once I realized that I had to walk on them to get to the play yard I was ready to try.

I have a new car crate as I haven’t fit into my Sherpa in weeks. I am doing really well on walks as I watch Tucker to figure out how to do it right. He’s 100lbs and doesn’t pull the leash at all, I’m not sure how he does it but I’m learning. So far Mommy and Daddy have not brought me to a dog park; they are not very comfortable with them but may go if we find the right one. Well I hope you like my new pictures!!

I love my new family and they love me to. I think it’s working out great!

Our hearts are made happy…

  1. I’m pretty sure this is our little Sadie May. It’s not a crazy notion to think these to came from the same litter! *wink* I looked at these pics and told Jas, check it out it’s Sadie. He laughed and then we saw that it is in fact Sadie May’s sister. I’m gonna have to send some pics that are almost identical to this of Ms. Malory.
